Who doesn’t love some good wholesome content of husband and wife displaying their love for each other? While some may find them cringy, one can’t deny the feeling of envy as they long to do similar activities with the love of their life one day.
From time to time, singer-actress Elizabeth Tan would post videos of her spending time or doing silly TikTok trends with her husband, Dr. Ding Siew Jim. Their latest post got netizens amused and suspected that the husband may not be having the best time of his life. Here’s why:
@elizabethtsm Harini dia good mood pulak. Must be the christmas spirit or smtg 😅❤️ hehe
It’s no surprise that Elizabeth Tan, fondly known as Lizzy, wanted to spend Christmas with none other than her husband. The singer shared a video of them dancing together on all her social media platforms with a caption that reads, “He seems to be in a good mood today. Must be the Christmas spirit or something 😅❤️,” possibly implying that her man doesn’t always agree to her requests to make videos together.
The couple danced in front of their Christmas tree in matching navy blue-coloured outfits but netizens noticed something off (and hilarious) about the video. As seen in the post above, Lizzy seemed to be enjoying herself dancing with her partner, while Siew Jim looked like he was forced – judging by his expression. It was even more obvious as his smile disappeared towards the end of the video.
Many were entertained and tickled by the medical professional’s forced smile and a few suspected that he and the “Escape” star must’ve rehearsed multiple times before posting the final product. Some even compared the couple to host-actress Ain Endruce and her husband Amirul Hafiz Mustaffa as they’ve posted similar videos on the former’s socials as well.
Even though he may have been forced into doing the dance video, we personally think it’s sweet that Siew Jim still agreed to the singer’s request, as any good husband would do. May they continue to create more silly and wholesome content together for fans to enjoy.
