Bringing together some of our favourite fruits, the Melon Mango Cheese Cake blends the comforting taste of light lemon jelly with wonderful fruits like honeydew melon, mango and mango-flavoured cream cheese. The top layer consists of light lemon jelly, and includes colourful, chewy fruity balls – a good mix of melon, mango and some dragon fruit. The jelly layer is complemented with chilled mango-flavoured cream cheese. A whole cake is priced at RM115 nett, while a slice is RM15.
This month’s showstopper – Double Cheese Berliner, a classic German doughnut made with sweet yeast dough – is now given a new twist. They are soft, fluffy and feature a surprising Berliner filling. The dough is rolled out into ball shapes before being deep-fried till crisp. A generous filling of cheese frosting is inserted, while a thin layer of white chocolate and also grated cheddar cheese is sprinkled on top! Elevate your dining experience with this fragrant and tender culinary masterpiece, the crispy Deep-fried Shatin Chicken, served throughout the month of October 2023. Known for its paper-thin, crisp skin and juicy meat with nice savoury flavours of aromatic seasoning spices, this dish is an all-time favourite. While sampling the crispy chicken, diners will taste cloves and five spices as a sign of how thorough the marinade was rubbed on the inside and outside of the chicken. For its signature crispy skin, the chicken is then air-fried for a day before being oil-poached with scalding hot oil right before serving.
