A few years after their troubles during the Miss Hong Kong pageant (香港小姐競選), former 2020 and 2022 participants Celina Harto (陈桢怡) and Denice Lam (林钰洧) are apparently embroiled in yet another scandal.
In 2022, Celina Harto went viral for cheating on multiple guys, while Denice Lam’s alleged sex video was released. Now, the two Miss Hong Kong participants were supposedly spotted attending a posh private dinner, leading to people wondering what happened behind closed doors.
Reports claim that Celina Harto, Denice Lam and TVB singer Kayee Tam (谭嘉仪) all attended a private dinner one night at a high-end restaurant in Wan Chai. The dinner was allegedly hosted by wealthy businessman Anthony Tsang (曾俊豪, 子辰). Anthony Tsang is known by most as the “Midas with the gold touch” of the stock market.
All three ladies were seen wearing ultra-short pants and mini skirts to the party and they apparently cooped up in the VIP room where laughter and other noises such as toasting and drinking could be heard. The dinner was apparently very lively and Kayee Tam’s loud voice was supposedly heard from time to time.
The trio also took photos with many people, and mingled happily with other guests. Denice Lam allegedly posed seductively with Anthony Tsang and other wealthy businessmen present. The party reportedly lasted till 11.30pm before it broke up.
Celina Harto, Denice Lam and Kayee Tam have all allegedly been down on their luck in their careers recently. In fact, Kayee supposedly lost a big supporter in the TVB company recently and has been facing plenty of new talent in her career.
As such, rumours claim the three ladies were invited by Anthony to the dinner to cooperate with him, as he allegedly has plans to break into the entertainment scene. Reportedly, the businessman’s Middle East company has assets of approximately HK$23.4 billion (~RM14 billion) and he is supposedly interested in filming a movie.
However, both Denice Lam and Celina Harto have since denied the rumours, claiming the event was actually to distribute mooncakes and have dinner with volunteers of a charity group. The ladies also confirmed that the person who shared the information had been at the party, but neither lady knew them. “I just wanted to do good deeds during the Mid-Autumn Festival and send moon cakes to the disabled and the elderly, but a fuss was made about it…” Denice lamented.
Well, we sincerely hope the ladies’ kind deeds will not be snuffed out under the weight of its accompanying rumours. We also hope they will continue to serve the community as best as they can and ignore malicious words.
