If you happened to be in or driving past Elmina, Shah Alam, then you have probably heard about or even witnessed the disaster that just occurred today (Thursday, 17th August) at 2:45pm.
Photos and videos circulated all over social media that showed the aftermath of a small aircraft that crashed and exploded upon impact in the middle of the road.

A huge fire and thick smoke can be seen from afar and locals as well as passersby were all there to capture the horrific sight of the crash. According to several reports and updates from netizens on social media, it was understood that three people had died in the crash, including the motorcyclist who the plane reportedly crashed on top of.
At the time of writing, police, the Fire and Rescue Department, as well as an ambulance, were immediately dispatched to the scene. Authorities have barricaded the area, preventing anyone from entering the dangerous crash site and firefighters have since put out the flames.
At the time of writing, the exact number of victims of this tragic incident has yet to be determined. It is also currently unknown what could’ve caused the small plane to crash in the residential area.
