(Video) Ford Mustang Driver Criticised For Blocking Pedestrian Walkway In Melawati Mall Parking Lot

Wherever you may go, it’s likely you’ll notice someone parking illegally somewhere, causing major inconvenience to the people in the vicinity. Previously, an OKU woman couldn’t exit from her parking spot due to a RapidKL bus parked right behind her car, blocking her path.

You’d also see these cases in shopping mall parking lots around the Klang Valley. Case in point: this luxury car owner decided to park their car in a very inconvenient spot. Watch:

Earlier this week, Facebook user Brian Chin posted a video on the B40 Buat Perangai Apa Harini page showing a silver-coloured Ford Mustang car illegally parked on the pedestrian walkway facing against traffic in a shopping mall’s parking lot in Kuala Lumpur. The luxury vehicle also happened to be parked in front of the pillar where the emergency panic button is located.

According to the netizen, this incident occurred at Melawati Mall’s B1 parking lot. “There were plenty of empty parking spots in B2 but this person decided to cause trouble for everyone else by making the road narrower,” he wrote. As seen in the video above, a security guard was walking nearby but it was never stated if he was observing the vehicle while waiting for the security team to clamp it.

After posting the video and photo, netizens condemned the owner for being inconsiderate despite owning a luxury car. Some joked about the possible reasons they could’ve parked their car on the walkway. A few suggested that the poster call security or puncture the tires to teach the driver a lesson.

At the time of writing, there has been no update on whether or not the Mustang owner was reprimanded, fined, or got their car clamped for illegal parking. We don’t know about you, but this unfortunately is a common sight at Glenmarie LRT station’s parking lot.

Let’s hope something can be done about these inconsiderate drivers and their haphazard parking.
