Prior to that, another victim posted a video of a man following her while she was driving before planting a kiss on her windshield. Unfortunately, a woman had the scare of her life after she was grabbed from behind by a strange man. Here’s what happened:

A video of CCTV footage has been circulating on social media recently. The video showed a man harassing a woman on a staircase of a building. The unknown man grabbed the woman from behind and started molesting her while she struggled to break free from him. According to Sinar Harian, the incident took place in Tuaran, Sabah last Sunday.
As seen in the video, it took a while before the offender let go of the victim and then proceeded to run away from the scene after noticing other people’s presence in the area. It was reported that the suspect was a mentally ill man who had just been discharged from Mesra Bukit Padang Hospital’s psychiatric ward 3 days prior to the incident.
Tuaran District Police Chief Deputy Superintendent Noraidin Awang Maidin informed that the suspect had been arrested at around 3am and tested positive for drugs. He also revealed that three separate reports we filed against the 29-year-old suspect by different victims on the same day. “The victims came forward after being sexually harassed by an unknown man from around 1 to 4pm on a Sunday,” he said.

In addition to molesting his victims, the suspect also reportedly took one of the victims’ purse and stole money from it before running away. At the time of writing, there has been no update on the man’s punishment for his crimes aside from that he will be once again referred to Mesra Bukit Padang Hospital regarding his mental condition.
We hope that the three victims are doing okay and that appropriate action will be taken against the offender.
