With the introduction of Menu Rahmah earlier this year, many people have been able to enjoy a nice balanced meal without having to splurge a lot of money.
Previously, we’ve prepared a list of the 5 fast-food chains in Malaysia that are offering Menu Rahmah meals and we’re glad that 2 more franchise have recently joined the initiation!
Yesterday (Monday, 29th May), it was announced that KFC and Pizza Hut will now be offering Menu Rahmah meals to their customers. As seen in the posters, KFC’s new budget meal will include 1 piece of chicken, a butterscotch bun, and a bottle of mineral water. As expected, the meal cost RM5 and is available from Monday to Friday from 2pm till 5pm.
As for Pizza Hut, their Menu Rahmah meal consists of 1 personal pizza (which you can choose from 5 different flavours) and 1 bottle of mineral water which would originally cost about RM16.50. Just like the KFC meal, this set is also priced at RM5 and is available from Monday to Friday from 2pm til 5pm.
According to BFM News, the initiative for these fast-food chains to offer the budget meals was launched by Domestic Trade and Cost Of Living Minister Salahuddin Ayub yesterday. He also revealed that there are now 3k food establishments participating in the programme, further proving the success of the Menu Rahmah initiation.
