It’s been almost a year and a half since celebrity couple Wang Leehom (王力宏) and Lee Jing Lei (李靚蕾) announced their divorce. Since then, things have been going haywire for the duo, with ugly fighting between the two and cutting accusations.
The former couple has apparently been trying to settle things legally. However as it turns out, this also serves as the first time Wang Leehom and Lee Jing Lei have met in court. While it was definitely a surprise for many, most netizens were more caught off guard with Leehom’s looks!
Just yesterday (15th May), Wang Leehom and Lee Jing Lei were spotted at the Taipei district court. Chinese media claim this is allegedly their first confrontation in court. The duo had apparently dressed up for the hearing, with Leehom in a tuxedo and glasses while Jing Lei wore a white blouse with a dark coloured skirt.
While the duo were certainly dressed for court, netizens were drawn to the notable streak of white in Leehom’s hair! “Wang Leehom has aged a lot to the naked eye,” one netizen commented. Others claimed his hairstyle made him look “vile” and “like a villain“. However, a few bravely opined that he looked handsome, despite being scorned by others.
Reporters supposedly attempted to question Leehom and Jing Lei about their progress in court. However, the duo declined to comment. Leehom merely thanked the reporters before leaving the scene while Jing Lei held her silence on her way to her vehicle.
According to Chinese media, Leehom and Jing Lei are currently attempting to settle their family issues, mainly regarding their kids. Although no official consensus has been announced, Leehom’s lawyer allegedly told reporters: “I hope all parents in the world can interact freely with their families.”
Well, this isn’t the first time netizens observed drastic changes in Wang Leehom after his divorce. Previously, some felt he looked ungroomed compared to Jing Lei. Still, we hope the couple will be able to settle their issues soon.
