It’s been more than two years since Qiu Wen (秋雯) became single. For those not in the know, Qiu Wen broke up with former boyfriend and fellow content creator Lim Shang Jin (林尚进) in January 2021. Since then, while Shang Jin has been seeing others, like Gatita Yan. However, Qiu Wen herself has remained single.
Her previous relationship may not have worked out as hoped. But, Qiu Wen hasn’t given up on love yet. In fact, she recently shared a little more on what she’s looking for in a guy!
The 27-year-old recently held a press conference for her very first solo single, “第六感 (Sixth Sense)”. The song, created for and released on White Day (14th March), is a love song as Qiu Wen believes such songs have the ability to touch people’s hearts since most are yearning for love. As for Qiu Wen herself, she thinks love is being able to experience life with another while accepting them as well.
“If you can fall in love with even (their) shortcomings, that is love,” Qiu Wen reportedly explained. Despite her former bumpy relationship, Qiu Wen still believes love is a beautiful thing. “I have changed (a lot) from before (till) now,” the influencer shared. “When I was young, I wanted to find a handsome guy with abs. When I grow up, I want to find (someone) responsible. It makes me feel safe.”
However, when asked about her current relationship status, Qiu Wen had this to say. “Relationships are a very personal matter. I think it’s better to keep a low profile (about it), especially after experiencing the ups and downs before,” she stated. However, Qiu Wen also heavily implied that she is still single.
Well, Qiu Wen’s priorities have certainly changed. In fact, she once declared she would not want to date another internet celebrity. We hope she’ll find someone good for her soon. However, even if she doesn’t, it certainly seems as though Qiu Wen is perfectly happy as a single young lady!
