We often talk about burying the past and leaving it behind. After all, everyone has skeletons in their closets that they don’t want revealed. Unfortunately, for Japanese idol and YouTuber Kumada Yoko (熊田 曜子), hers are being brutally dug up!
The 40-year-old idol divorced her husband in 2021. However, as it turns out, her divorce wasn’t a quick or clean one. Last year (2022), her ex-hubby filed a lawsuit against her and a TV producer for having an affair. The evidence for her affair? Well, it was apparently found on her sex toy!
Yoko allegedly married her former husband in 2012 and later revealed her three children. The idol has kept her private life under lock and key. But, in May 2021, it was revealed that Yoko’s husband was arrested for committing domestic violence against her. By the end of the month, Yoko announced she had divorced her husband.
Contrary to expectations, her story didn’t end there. A year later, Yoko’s ex-husband came forward claiming to have reasonable doubt that Yoko had been cheating on him with a TV producer. According to Japanese media 週刊文春 (Shūkan Bunshun), Yoko’s former husband had recorded her conversations which had led to his suspicions.
This wasn’t the first time Yoko and the TV producer had been suspected of having an affair. But, the duo had always denied it. As such, Yoko’s ex-husband knew he needed proper proof. In a stroke of luck, he found a sex toy in Yoko’s bag and decided to send it in for DNA testing.
Yoko’s former husband also hired a private detective to investigate the producer. In August 2021, the detective followed Yoko and the TV producer to a ramen shop. The detective later took the disposable chopsticks used by the producer and sent them in for analysis to be compared with DNA from the sex toy.
The toy was found to have multiple DNA on it. But, it wasn’t enough to confirm the TV producer’s involvement with Yoko. As such, their source requested for more DNA. Yoko’s sex toy apparently had exchangeable heads, so Yoko’s ex-husband sent in two other heads. The result? The TV producer’s DNA was clearly detected which proved he had touched the toy.
Although the TV producer had also divorced his wife in 2021, the latest information has apparently changed the situation. Some netizens have expressed sympathy for Yoko as her private history has been publicised for everyone to see.
