Datuk Redzuawan Ismail, better known as Chef Wan, has often caught the attention of netizens with his witty postings on Instagram. Previously, netizens couldn’t help but to coo over the Malaysian chef’s post about his pet cat. In addition, he also often shares posts about his daughter, Serina Redzuawan, on his socials.
Just recently, Chef Wan shared a video as well as a few pictures of the local actress paying a visit to his restaurant in KL East Mall. Though he wasn’t there in person, Chef Wan ended up leaving all the netizens laughing out loud with his humorous caption. He was seen nagging at his daughter for eating too much.
“Since this cafe belongs to your dad, and your brother works as a chef here, you can request for extra ‘perkedel’ (vegetable fritters) all you want,” Chef Wan wrote in his caption. “She’s not playing with her (promo) campaign. How could you eat all that? How could you not gain weight after eating all the food? When I reprimand her, she always has something to say.”
At the same time, the 64-year-old also expressed his concern towards his children’s health. “I’m worried about her, since her late mom used to suffer from diabetes and also heart disease. But she still eats too much. Even my daughter-in-law is also the same, she’s like a Dyson fan. I just love this chubby girl. Have you bought the sofa and the dining table for your new house already? The money has been transferred already,” Chef Wan added in his post.

Scrolling through the comments, many netizens reacted positively to Chef Wan’s post. Most of them praised Chef Wan for his caring gesture towards his children, despite his outspoken personality.
