A man who goes by Ariff Peter posted a series of videos on his TikTok and Instagram of his efforts in finding a spouse. The 32-year-old content creator shared that he’s grown tired of being single and friendzoned that he decided to come up with new ways to find himself a partner for life by handing out flyers and putting up banners in town.
Talk about “putting yourself out there”. In one of his posts on Instagram, we can see from the flyers that Ariff is willing to give out a generous reward to whoever managed to find him a wife. The flyer reads, “Attention to all Malaysian citizens! Whoever manages to find me a partner will be rewarded a cash prize of RM10K”. That’s an awful lot of money he’s willing to spend in order to not be single anymore.
Are you interested? If you are then you’ll need to fit a certain criteria. In another video post, we can see the Radio DJ listed down all the things he’s looking for in a wife. The criteria are listed as below:
- A woman who wants to have lots of children
- Knows how to cook
- Is prepared to be a housewife with reasonable allowance and gifts.
In his latest video on Instagram, where he can be seen handing out more flyers, the content creator revealed that if his mother was still alive, she would’ve helped him find someone. “My mother is no longer here so I have to work hard in finding the right person myself”, he captioned.
Even though his attempts in finding a spouse may look ridiculous, most comments from netizens have actually been positive and supportive with some even trying to set him up with their friends or relatives.
We’re not entirely sure if this whole thing is just an act for content or if Ariff is dead serious in finding a spouse. Whatever the outcome, we hope he finds his happiness in life.
