There’s no denying that social media is a big part of our lives nowadays. Unfortunately, losing an account or getting it banned can be annoying to deal with. Especially since tech support doesn’t always do much to help.
Furthermore, it is never easy to apply for a revision, make a formal complaint, or appeal to get one’s account back. The majority would just send the developer mass message spams either via direct messaging or comments in postings that would often be ignored.

Recently, Los Angeles-based content creator Kitty Lixo made a surprising statement on the “No Jumper” Podcast that she had slept with multiple Meta employees to get her Instagram account unbanned. When host Adam John Grandmaison asked how does one get their deleted account back, she simply answered, “All you have to do is have someone really, really like you.”
The OnlyFans creator also alleged that when her account got banned the first time, she slept with her friend who worked at Instagram which eventually led her to successfully get her account back. While this is not confirmed, it is speculated that her Instagram was banned multiple times due to her linking her OnlyFans account which contains adult content.
Since the revelation on the podcast, Kitty had gotten comments that were both positive and negative about her actions. Days after the podcast episode went viral, the content creator’s podcast’s Instagram account was taken down. Here are some of the comments from both Twitter and Facebook regarding the matter.

While it was never confirmed if linking her OnlyFans account to her Instagram posts was the actual reason for being banned, it is most likely why Meta had updated their guidelines back in December 2020. According to a Facebook spokesperson, contents on OnlyFans can be sexual despite it not being a porn site which is why they would take action on accounts that share their OnlyFans links.
