Sharifah Sakinah came up with a shocking statement on her Instagram a couple of days ago, revealing to her followers and fans that she has officially tied the knot with her hunky Swedish beau, Michael Hansen.
According to the actress, there were several issues that led to her refusing to go public with the exciting news about her second marriage (this include personal issues as well as religious matters). As a result, both Sakinah and her hubs ended up getting married without a ceremony.
However, it appears that some bitter nitpickers out there didn’t react too kindly to Sakinah’s announcement. This particular IG user even went as far as to claim that the “Girlfriend Aku Dari Neraka” actress had left Islam! The commentator left a DM on her Instagram, congratulating her for “converting to Christianity.”
Clearly, Sakinah was not having any of the netizen’s remark. In this case, she clarified that they didn’t want to cause a commotion among her in-laws. “Picture this, your son suddenly converts (to another religion). For sure your mother will be mad, right? You want proof? Just swipe,” the local celeb wrote in her post on Instagram.
The 36-year-old also uploaded a snapshot of Michael’s legal certification, proving that the Caucasian gym junkie had officially changed his religion to Islam. His Islamic name, Mikael Hansen, can also be seen written on the card.
“Thank you for making things worse,” Sakinah added in her caption. “I have explained this previously, so, there is no need to question the issue again. There’s no need to be prejudiced. I have proof. I didn’t show it because I want to take care of my husband’s family members’ feelings.”
However, the posting was later deleted by Sakinah just a few hours after that. It’s safe to assume that the newlyweds have jointly decided to keep it on the down-low regarding their married life.
