Congratulations are in order for Wonder Girls’ Hyerim (혜림) and Shin Min Chul. The husband-wife duo are about to be parents soon!
The former girl group member dropped a huge announcement via a video posted on her YouTube channel, “Lim’s Diary” earlier today (Friday, 8th October). Hyerim (also known as Lim) revealed that she and her hubby are currently expecting their first baby together.
Hyerim, along with Shin Min Chul (who made a special appearance), were seen looking rather nervous in the video. She then stated, “Something big has happened,” to which the Taekwondo athlete chimed in by saying, “Yeah, it is a pretty big deal.” Hyerim then tells her husband to make the “big” announcement. “Hyerim is having a baby!” Shin Min Chul revealed in the clip.
Lim expressed her excitement to drop the delightful news with her subscribers first, and went on to say, “I am in the beginning stages of my pregnancy. Many people don’t know about it yet. It’s my first time dealing with this kind of news, so I feel flustered.”
The lovely couple further had been planning to become parents by March of next year. Their heart’s desires were fulfilled upon learning of Hyerim’s pregnancy and the bundle of joy will be due in March 2022.
In case you missed it, Shin Min Chul tied the knot with the “I Feel You” singer on 5th July 2020. Her fellow Wonder Girls members also surprised her with a congratulatory message. We wonder if they’ll come up with another one for Hyerim’s soon-to-be-born baby.
