Syed Saddiq might have been busy fulfilling his duty as a political figure, but that hasn’t held him back from embarking on a new business venture – by partnering with AirAsia’s fast food restaurant, Santan.
The Muar Member of Parliament (MP) announced on his Facebook earlier this week that he has become an official associate for one of Santan’s brand new outlets located in 163 Retail Park, Mont Kiara, KL.
In the post, Syed Saddiq stated that he had been interested in launching his own business for quite some time now. He also revealed his plan to look into businesses that can provide more job opportunities for young people out there.
The public figure added that he choose the Santan brand because it is already established in Malaysia and has been active in promoting local dishes. Not only that, they have also shown support for Malaysian youngsters who had lost their jobs during the Covid-19 pandemic.
In preparing to launch the #SaddiqSapotLokal campaign, the politician aims to provide opportunities to small and midscale businesses. Having said that, Syed Saddiq realised that these things take time.
