Lai Kuanlin (라이관린) was spotted with a mysterious woman at an airport yesterday (Thursday, 27th August). Many were quick to jump to conclusions and assumed they are an item.
The reason being? The aforementioned lady was seen wearing Kuanlin’s jacket. The duo were also seen wearing matching dark-coloured caps.
Despite maintaining low-key while wearing a face mask, fans and paparazzi were still able to identify the former WannaOne member. It didn’t take long before word started spreading like wildfire online.
At 10:20pm last night, the 19-year-old Taiwanese star took to his Weibo account to shut down the rumour with 5 simple words. “That’s my actual older sister,” the former K-pop star wrote. Although he didn’t offer much explanation, it was understood that he was addressing the airport scene.
Kuanlin recently took part in a recording of China’s National Day performance. It is expected to be broadcast at the end of next month.
