If you grew up watching Sailor Moon and her fellow Sailor Guardians conquer evil and save the world, this is the chance to harness your inner guardian of the universe and channel that ultimate #GirlPower with these kick-ass sneakers.
For its latest collection, the giant footwear brand has come up with new versions of the popular D’Lites Airy 2.0 silhouette. They are, of course, inspired by the 5 iconic Sailor Guardians. It provides comfort whether walking or dancing thanks to the Air Cooled Memory Foam cushioned insole and shock-absorbing function.
Priced at RM459/pair and available in women’s US size 5 – 9, the Skechers X Sailor Moon D’Lites Airy 2.0 also features the squad’s planetary symbols on the shoe’s midsole. There is:
- Sailor Moon – dark pink and blue hues
- Sailor Venus – navy blue and yellow
- Sailor Mercury – light and blue
- Sailor Mars – purple and red
- Sailor Jupiter – pink and green
In addition, the new collection also includes the Skechers Street shoe (RM339) reimagined in pastel colours and paired with a ribbon bow, as well as apparels (hoodies, pullovers, T-shirts).
Skechers is also running a promotion where shoppers will get to take home a collectable umbrella that transforms under the rain. A minimum purchase of RM450 is required and has to include at least a product from the Sailor Moon collection.
There’s even a Skechers X Sailor Moon pop-up event happening at LG2 Orange Avenue in Sunway Pyramid (near Watson or Digi) from now till 1st March 2020.
