“Men In Black: International” is currently screening in theatres and Malaysians have another reason to watch the newly-released remake.
Yes, we’ve got Chris Hemsworth (there’s also a shirtless scene) and Tessa Thompson starring in it. But what you may not know is that the movie also features a cameo from a Malaysian influencer.
That’s right peeps. Phei Yong (培永) appears briefly in the movie. The scene takes place Men In Black headquarters when his cameo is projected on a large screen. For those curious, the Malaysian content creator is a normal human being and not an alien.
If Phei Yong looks familiar, that’s because the 25-year-old Malaysian has been working as a radio DJ in MY FM ever since he won the “MY FM Be My Star DJ” competition back in 2015. He has more than 490k subscribers on YouTube and over 465k followers on Instagram.
A few weeks ago, he was invited to Bali, Indonesia along with other famous content creators and influencers from around the world to cover “Men In Black: International” and get up close and personal with Hemsworth.
