If there’s no hope for Robert Pattinson, then there’s no hope for any of us, really.
The 31-year-old actor recently starred in David and Nathan Zellner’s Damsel, a deadpan Western comedy film. The movie also stars Mia Wasikowska, Robert Forster, and Joe Billingiere alongside Pattinson.
Robert Pattinson plays Samuel Alabaster in the movie, a man who ventures across the American frontier to marry the love of his life, Penelope.
However, the Twilight actor admitted does not share the same views on love as his character, Samuel.
“I think Samuel, the main character, is a bit of a fantasist. He likes believing in a poetic version of reality. I think life and love is a little more complicated than he perceives it.” Robert said at the Berlin Film Festival.
“Do I believe in true, pure love? No. No, I think it’s, I mean it’s obviously more complicated.” he added.
Rob was madly in love with his Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart, and the two dated for 4 years. However, pictures of Kristen Stewart being affectionate with her Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders surfaced, and ultimately led to their break-up.
After that, Rob was engaged to singer-songwriter, FKA Twigs, but they broke up last year.
