Planning your travelling trips for next year already, wanderlusters?
During the first quarter of 2018, AirAsia will be suspending flights from Kuala Lumpur to Kalibo (Boracay), Philippines and Surat Thani, Thailand. This news comes courtesy of Wilson Ng from the publication, Places and Foods.

According to the site, the route from KLIA2 to Surat Thani will stop operation at the end of February 2018. As some of you may know, Surat Thani is one of the central cities in Thailand. Many tourists use it to en route to nearby destinations such as Koh Phangan, Koh Tao, Khao Sok National Park, Ang Thong National Marine Park, and of course, Koh Samui.
As for flights from Kuala Lumpur to Kalibo (Boracay), an email notification from the low-cost airline states that it will be withdrawing effective 26th March 2018. For those who have already booked flights in advanced will be given three options. You can either change your flight to an earlier date, request for a credit account of the same value, or get a full refund.

Do notify your friends and family members if they have made any bookings to the aforementioned destinations.
