Are you feeling “Gorgeous”? Hopefully you will after listening to Taylor Swift’s new single.
The 27-year-old megastar has just turned our Friday into Friyay by releasing the 3rd song from her highly-anticipated upcoming album, “Reputation“. If you’ve enjoyed listening to “Look What You Made Me Do” and “…Ready for It?”, “Gorgeous” will be no different.
The pop track starts off with a cute baby saying “gorgeous” over the electro-pop sound. So who is “Gorgeous” about? Swift isn’t complementing herself here but a rather “gorgeous” love interest. The suitor is apparently so cool that it irritates the pop star. We can’t help but speculate that the inspiration behind the song is her current British boyfriend, Joe Alwyn.
“You’re so gorgeous / I can’t say anything to your face / Cause look at your face / And I’m so furious / At you for making me feel this way / But what can I say? / You’re gorgeous,” Swift sings on the chorus. She even declares that “you’re so gorgeous it actually hurts” in the 2nd verse. Woah, sounds intense doesn’t it?

The Grammy winner was recently seen filming her latest music video in the streets of London. Hopefully we’ll get to see the full visual soon.
Swift’s 6th studio album, “Reputation”, is due out 10th November.
