Ask anyone who has been to Taiwan and they’ll tell you that the country is famous for its street food. This is why we can’t wait to try Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks’ new royal combination.

Since unveiling a short teaser on their social media last week, the popular Taiwanese franchise has finally introduced the yummilicious Royal Cheese Potato at their outlets in Peninsular Malaysia. That’s right foodies, it’s officially on sale now!

For those curious about Shihlin’s new enticing snack, it can be best described as “deep fried fluffy potato combined with rich, melted cheese sauce, and garnished with fresh savoury add-ons.”  Once the fluffy potato is deep fried, it is cut open stuffed with corn, mushrooms, sausage pieces, chicken strips and topped with hard boiled eggs. There’s also the cheese sauce and mayonnaise to elevate the taste and make it yummier.

There are 2 options for the Royal Cheese Potato. You can either purchase the ala carte for RM9.80 or the Royal Cheese Potato set that comes with a Lemon Ai-Yu Jelly drink for RM12.50. According to Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks Malaysia, this mouth-watering food is only available for a limited period of time only.
