“Seduction is a dangerous art.”
The red band trailer for Justin Chadwick’s “Tulip Fever” is finally out and it is intensely risque. While recently-released US trailer (which was deemed unfit for television) also features a brief bed scene between Vikander and DeHaan’s characters, the new red band trailer gives viewers more snippets on the onscreen lovers’ steamy relationship.

Based on Deborah Moggach’s best-selling novel of the same name, the historical drama film is set in 17th century Amsterdam. The story follows the forbidden romance between struggling painter Jan Van Loos (played by Dane DeHaan) and Sophia Sandvoort (played Alicia Vikander), an orphaned young woman who is in a forced marriage with a wealthy and powerful merchant (played by Christoph Waltz).
In hopes to build a future together, the forbidden lovers plan to run away and invest in the risky tulip market.
From the Academy Award-winning producer of “Shakespeare In Love”, the film also stars comedian Zach Galifianakis, veteran actress Judi Dench, Jack O’Connell, Holliday Grainger, “Glee” actor Matthew Morrison, and DeHaan’s “Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets” co-star Cara Delevingne.

“Tulip Fever” is slated for release on 1st September.
