Sorry, Thor fans. But Darryl Jacobson (played by Daley Pearson), Thor’s roommate, will not appear in “Thor: Ragnarok”.
During the panel for the Marvel film at Australia’s Supanova Expo, Chris Hemsworth confirmed that fans will not see his Aussie roommate in the movie. However, the hunky actor did say Darryl might make it into “Avengers: Infinity War”.
The news was tweeted by social media user Tyler James on Sunday (18th June).

Darryl became an instant hit among Thor fans after Marvel released a special summer short for “Thor: Ragnarok” last year. At one point, director Taika Waititi even said that he might add “everyday guy” Darryl into the franchise’s 3rd instalment.
He previously told IGN, “I think you probably could see him (Darryl) again. There may be other little pieces of that thing that everyone saw that may just be a small part of a bigger thing.”
“Thor: Ragnarok” stars Cate Blanchett as the ruthless Hela and Jeff Goldblum as the manipulative Grandmaster. The plot follows the Asgardian god in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok, the destruction of his home world, and the end of Asgardian civilisation without his mighty hammer.
But first, he must survive a deadly gladiator contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger, the Incredible Hulk (played by Mark Ruffalo).
“Thor: Ragnarok” will smash its way into cinemas on 3rd November 2017.
