We don’t know about you, but we instantly fell in love with Thor’s Australian non-superhero housemate Darryl Jacobson (played by Daley Pearson) after we watched Marvel’s special summer short for “Thor: Ragnarok”, which went viral.
So we couldn’t resist our excitement when director Taika Waititi told IGN that he might add “everyday guy” Darryl into the franchise’s 3rd instalment!

He said:
“I think you probably could see him (Darryl) again. There may be other little pieces of that thing that everyone saw that may just be a small part of a bigger thing.”
This means, we might be seeing more of Thor’s lovable buddy.
Besides that, the Waititi mentioned that fans won’t be seeing any of the vampire and werewolf characters from the other Taika and Jemaine universes.

In the said featurette, which was released in August, the Asgardian god briefly rented a room in a flat in Australia after the events of “Avengers: The Age Of Ultron” to stay away from the Avengers and America.
Just in case you don’t know what we’re talking about, here’s the funny video:

It was also revealed that the upcoming film will include some aspects from the much-hyped Planet Hulk storyline from the comic books.
Starring Chris Hemsworth as Thor Odinson and Tom Hiddleston as Loki, “Thor: Ragnarok” is slated for release on 3rd November 2017.
