Myolie Wu (胡杏兒) is about to be a mum and we couldn’t be any happier for her!
Over the weekend on Mother’s Day, the 37-year-old Hong Kong star took to social media to share a series of gorgeous photos of her proudly showing off her baby bump. The former TVB actress also shared that she was 4 months pregnant.
“Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers in the world (including me?)! We are so blessed to let you all know that Little Lee is on the way. Little baby Lee is already doing sit ups in my tummy, yes, mummy and daddy can’t wait to see you too!” wrote Myolie.
Her husband, Philip Lee (李乘德) – who is now the chief executive of a headhunting company – uploaded a similar photo of them together with the caption, “Happy Mothers Day (sic) to the most beautiful mother-to-be. We cannot wait to see you! So for now I will just try to listen to your little heartbeat”.
In one of the snapshots, Myolie can be seen smiling as her hubby plants a loving kiss on her growing belly. Other pictures show the actress accentuating her bump, posing against a stunning blue backdrop. For those curious, the photos were taken during their recent “babymoon” trip to the Maldives.
Although there are rumours circulating that it’s a baby boy, the couple has maintain that they will only enquire about the child’s gender at a later date. “My husband wants to wait a little longer before asking the doctor. We’re in no hurry,” said Myolie.
The soon-to-be parents tied the knot in December 2015 after dating for approximately a year. Congrats to the happy couple! We’re certainly looking forward to the big day 😉
