Mr. Worldwide is going to heat things up in Singapore this May!
Pitbull (real name Armando Christian Pérez) will be holding his “Climate Change Tour” at the Suntec Convention Centre on 27th May.
With over 70 million single sales and 6 million album sales, Pitbull aka Mr. 305 (area code for Miami) is a Grammy-winning global superstar and business entrepreneur. The 36-year-old rapper started off his music career with his debut album, “M.I.A.M.I.”, under TVT Records in 2004. But it wasn’t until his 2009 album, “Rebelution”, that he gained international success. One of the album’s hit single, “I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)”, peaked at #2 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
Known for merging hip hop with Cuban swing, Pitbull’s 6th album, “Planet Pit”, debuted at #7 on the Billboard Top 200. It held party anthem, “Give Me Everything” (featuring Ne-Yo, Afrojack, and Nayer), which is said to be one of the best-selling singles of all-time. In 2013, he dropped “Timber” (featuring Ke$ha) off “Meltdown” EP (extended play). The track was topped the Billboard Hot 100 for 3 weeks straight. Moreover, he co-wrote the 2014 FIFA World Cup official song, “We are One (Ole, Ola)”.
The tour is in support of his upcoming 10th album, “Climate Change”, which is slated for release on 17th March 2017. The album features Enrique Iglesias, Flo Rida, Lunch Money Lewis, Jennifer Lopez, Prince Royce, Jason Derulo, Stephen Marley, R.Kelly, Austin Mahone, Leona Lewis, Kiesza, Stephen A. Clark, and Ape Drums.
