We’ve missed these boys!
After around 5 months, SM Entertainment’s boy group NCT 127 is finally back with a new music video for “Switch”. The 3-minute long clip was dropped at midnight today (Wednesday, 21st December).
While the music video was a surprise for fans, the track itself isn’t a new one. “Switch”, which features SR15B, also known as SMROOKIES 2015 Boys, was released in July in NCT 127’s debut extended play of the same name. Back then, “Fire Truck” was chosen as the title track while “Switch” was a bonus track for fans.
The music video, which has a playful tone, features both the boys of NCT 127 and SR15B. Fans are clearly excited to see the clip, as it has been some time since the latter made a public appearance. While the video started off in a serious tone, with the NCT 127 members preparing themselves for what looked like an intense battle, the switch of mood halfway through was certainly a good surprise. We see the 2 boy groups battling amongst themselves while engaging in a fun water gun fight.

NCT (Neo Culture Technology) is SM Entertainment’s new male idol group project, and is made up of different groups based in several countries around the world. NCT 127 is the 2nd sub-unit from the project and is based in Seoul. Their debut album comprised of a total of 7 tracks and the group is made up of members Taeil, Taeyong, Yuta, Jaehyun, Winwin, Mark, and Haechan.
Aside from NCT 127, the NCT brand also boasts 2 other groups, NCT U (the alpha group) and NCT Dream (targeted at the younger market).
