After watching the newest trailer for “Wonder Woman”, we’ve taken a liking to Gal Gadot and her Greek/Roman-inspired super suit. But the big question is, “Is it comfortable?”
The actress recently revealed that after being casted as the iconic female DC superhero, she had a “very, very tight” costume-trying experience.
At the Rhode Island Comic Con over the weekend, Galdot said, “The very-very first time I tried the costume on was 3 days after I got cast. And they flew me to Michigan, and I got into this huge hangar. Huge, with tons of white walls covered with posters of me as Wonder Woman. I got into the room and I couldn’t stop looking at the posters. And then, when they wanted me to try on the costume—because I was so excited that they cast me for the role—I couldn’t say anything; I couldn’t breathe, but I was like, ‘That’s okay. That’s fine.'”
But fortunately, the costume was altered and adjusted to fit the actress perfectly and now, it’s like her 2nd skin.
According to costume designer Michael Wilkinson mentioned that “Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice” director Zack Snyder wanted Wonder Woman to look “gritty, battle-scarred, and immortal”. The upcoming film will focus on Wonder Woman’s (aka Diana Prince, princess of the Amazons) origin story and her involvement in World War I.
Slated for release on 2nd June 2017, “Wonder Woman” also stars Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, David Thewlis, Danny Huston, Elena Anaya, Ewen Bremner, and Saïd Taghmaoui.
