“I used to want to save the world, this beautiful place. But the closer you get, the more you see the great darkness within. I learnt this the hard way a long, long time ago.”
In June this year, we were treated to an exclusive San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) trailer for the upcoming standalone “Wonder Woman” live-action film. And in not so many words, it rendered us giddy with excitement.

We’re not so sure about you it was so good that we took the liberty to watch and re-watch the SDCC trailer a couple of times. But now, that’s no longer necessary as Warner Bros. Pictures has released a new “Wonder Woman” trailer.
The official synopsis is as follows:
“Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.”
The new trailer certainly didn’t disappoint as it featured plenty of new footage from the highly-anticipated movie and more glimpses at Princess Diana of Themyscira aka Princess Diana Prince aka Wonder Woman while exploring her past.
It also allowed a more detailed look at men invading Wonder Woman’s gorgeous home of Themyscira and DC Comics’ most famous heroine of all time in action as she goes to “the war to end all wars”. At some point, she even puts her trusty magic “Lasso of Truth” to good use in a previously unreleased scene, leaving a solid hint at who the villain might be. Let’s just say that he might not be an ordinary man.

UPDATE (13th March):
A new “Wonder Woman” trailer has been released depicting Diana Prince’s journey to becoming the fierce Amazon warrior that we’ve all come to know and love.
First announced by Gal Gadot (who plays Diana Prince/Wonder Woman in the film), the 2-minute 29-second clip gives us a glimpse into Diana’s life in the paradise of Themyscira. Unlike the previous trailer that was released in November 2016, this one features the princess’ training and how she eventually became the badass that she is.
And yes, there’s also some never-seen-before footage of Chris Pine (who plays fighter pilot Steve Trevor, Diana Prince’s love interest).
