The highly-anticipated “Snatch” drama series won’t be due till next year, but set photos of “Harry Potter” star Rupert Grint as posh con man Charlie Cavendish have been making its round on Twitter.
Based on Guy Ritchie’s 2000 crime comedy of the same name, the Brit hunk stars alongside Dougray Scott and Ed Westwick, who plays hustler Vic Hill and nightclub owner Sonny Castillo respectively.

Inspired by a real life heist in London, the Crackler adaption centres on a group of 20-something, up-and-coming hustlers who stumble upon a truck load of stolen gold bullion and are suddenly thrust into the high-stakes world of organised crime. The boys must quickly learn to navigate the treacherous waters of London’s underworld as rogue cops, gypsy fighters, international mobsters, and local villains descend.
The new 10-episode series has begun productions in Manchester, England.

Arguably one of the best cult films in the 2000s, the original “Snatch” film features a star-studded line-up of actors including Brad Pitt, Jason Statham, Benicio Del Toro, and Alan Ford. The story involves the London criminal underworld, a diamond heist, and a lot of hustling.
The “Snatch” TV series remake will make its premiere in 2017.
