For those flying with Malaysia Airlines, we’ve got news for you.
The airline has announced a temporary closure of Kuala Lumpur airspace for an aerial survey, and it will be affecting flights to and fro Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) from 26th ’til 29th September.
Flights that are arriving and departing the airport between 11am – 11:59pm and 2pm – 2:59pm on the aforementioned days will either be rescheduled or cancelled. Several international and domestic flights are affected.
As such, MAS is advising passengers to arrive early for check-ins, and to ensure that all documents that are required for travel are up-to-date. For those who are travelling internationally, travels and entry visas are a must; while for those who travel domestically, a valid MyKad or MyKid is required.
Alternatively, passengers can also check-in via web on www.malaysiaairlines.com or MHmobile at flymas.mobi which opens 48 hours till 90 minutes before departure.
