Klang Valley residents, heads up!
Several parts of Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya will be facing water disruptions, as announced by Syabas (Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd/Selangor Water Supply Company). This is caused by the upgrading works on the water distribution system, which will be carried out in the affected areas from 3am on 27th September (Tuesday) ’til 8pm on 28th September (Wednesday).

The affected areas in Kuala Lumpur are as follows:

- Pusat Sukan Bukit Kiara
- Pusat Sains Negera
- Institut Tadbiran Awam Negara (Intan)
- Suruhanjaya Sekuriti
- Bahagian Teknologi Pendidikan
- Pusat Konvensyen Sime Darby
- Jalan Setiabistari
- Jalan Setiabudi
- Jalan Setiarasa
- Jalan Setiaraya
- Jalan Setiajaya
- Jalan Media Setia
- Jalan Setiamurni 1-12
- Persiaran Basong
- Jalan Dungun
- Jalan Bruas
- Jalan Batai
- Idamansara, Changkat Semantan

UPDATE (27th September, 10:20am):
Syabas has announced that the water disruption scheduled from 3am on 27th September (Tuesday) ’til 8pm on 28th September (Wednesday) has been rescheduled.
This is due to the postponement of the upgrading works. As such, the aforementioned areas won’t be affected by the water disruption on the above dates.
However, the upgrading works are still scheduled to happen in the future, but no definite date has been given.
