K-Pop fans will be able to meet miss A’s Suzy (수지) at the Hallyu exhibition hall in Madame Tussauds, Hong Kong! Well, a wax figure is close enough, right?
According to JYP Entertainment, the South Korean sweetheart will be the first female K-Pop star to be displayed as a wax figure in the famous wax museum chain.
Suzy reportedly went through a 7-hour head-to-toe body measurement session done by the British wax museum experts in Seoul recently. In the picture (above), she can be seen wearing a classy white dress while choosing her eye colour.
The idol singer revealed:
“I think it’s an honour to be inducted into Madame Tussauds’ hall as the very first Korean female artiste. Also, the making of the wax figurine process was a whole new experience for me, and I want to thank the team for their hard work. I very much look forward to the day that my wax figurine will stand in front of fans.”

Besides that, Hong Kong fans will get a chance to see the singer in person as she plans to to visit the museum in conjunction with the reveal of her waxen doppelganger in early August. She will join the ranks of other Hallyu stars like Bae Yong Joon, her boyfriend Lee Min Ho, Kim Soo Hyun, and Lee Jong Suk whose wax dolls are already being exhibited there.
Suzy, real name Bae Suji (배수지), made her debut through Miss A, a Korean-Chinese female idol group, in 2010 with “Good Girl, Bad Girl”. The group’s most recent album, “Colours”, which held their hit title track “Only You” (다른 남자 말고 너), was released in March 2015.
She is also best known for her leading roles in several popular K-Dramas including “Dream High”, “Gu Family Book”, and “Big”. She is currently starring in “Uncontrollably Fond” alongside Kim Woo Bin.
