JYJ’s Park Yoochun’s (박유천) has been cleared of all 4 sexual assault charges made against him on Monday morning (11th July).
According to Naver via Soompi, the Seoul Gangnam District Police stated that it was difficult to determine whether force or violence was involved in the sexual relations between the victims and the idol star. The investigation will be concluded and the results will be forwarded to the prosecutors by the 14th or 15th July.
“As it is difficult to prove the use of force, the charges of sexual assault are not valid. He will be acquitted,” said a police representative.

However, despite the singer’s charges being cleared, the police will continue to look into the first accuser’s 100 million won (approximately RM3.5 million) settlement fee. Apparently, the police has restored texts exchanged between Yoochun and Ms. Lee’s side and they have confirmed that it contains several mentions of “100 million won”.
Besides that, investigations regarding alleged blackmail, false accusations by the accusers, and prostitution are still ongoing.

30-year-old Park Yoochun was accused of sexually assaulting an employee of an exclusive adult entertainment bar on 10th June. After many rumours and false reports, the police confirmed that the victim withdrew her claims against the star on 15th June but they decided to continue the investigation to determine Yoochun’s innocence. 3 sexual assault lawsuits were filed against the singer by 3 different women on 16th and 17th June.
