Do you love durians? Do you also enjoy running? Well, listen up peeps, cause we’ve got the perfect event for you to take part in.
The Durian Run, which will be a 5km run, is set to take place on the last weekend of the month (Saturday, 30th July 2016). All Durian joggers will be given 50 minutes to complete the run and there will be a feast of “golden treasures” awaiting at the end of the pitstop.
Why a Durian Run and what’s the connection, you ask? Well, instead of rewarding runners with a finisher medal/t-shirt, participants will get to enjoy a durian fiesta, termed “Kendurian”, at the end of the finish line. The “Kendurian” promises all kinds of rare and top quality durians, plus an assortment of durian desserts and delicacies.
But before indulging in the mouth-watering yellow fruit, runners are required to take part in the 5km run that will take them through beautiful sights of Kuala Lumpur before finishing at Dataran DBKL, Kuala Lumpur. Along the way, participants will also pass by famous landmarks such as KLCC and KL Tower.
Brought to you by Event Fest, the details for “Durian Run” are as follows:
