The boys of Cube Entertainment’s B2ST (BEAST, 비스트) are finally back with a new music video!
After many teaser images and videos, the visuals for the idol group’s highly-anticipated pre-release track, titled “Butterfly”, was finally dropped at midnight on 27th June.
Taken from their upcoming album, “Butterfly” was co-produced by member Yong Junhyung and it is described as a “traditional ballad song with a dramatic harmony that will move listeners’ hearts”. The track is heavily infused with the soft melodies of piano and acoustic guitar, depicting the departure of a lover.
The music video is set in an atmospheric green forest setting, full of colourful flowers, antiques, and butterflies. The boys can also be seen donning white button shirts with long black slacks.
Though it doesn’t have any powerful dance scenes or dramatic skits, the 3-minute long video is still aesthetically pleasing.
