SM Entertainment is on a roll!
First, Amber of f(x) comes back with a project titled “Crossing“, then, Jonghyun of SHINee wows the public with his self-composed 1st full-length studio album, “She Is“. It seems like SM Entertainment is hellbent on flooding fans with good music, as Girls’ Generation‘s Taeyeon was revealed to be gearing up for her solo comeback.
Rumours about Taeyeon filming her comeback music video in the United States have been confirmed by SM Entertainment, who added that the details for her specific schedule for upcoming activities will be revealed “once everything is confirmed”.
Taeyeon will be holding her solo concert series, titled “Butterfly Kiss”, on 9th and 10th July at the Seoul Olympic Hall, and then at Busan KBS Hall on 6th and 7th August. It is unsure if Taeyeon’s solo comeback will be before or after the concerts.
Taeyeon’s last release was in 3rd February, when her single “Rain” was unvelied as part of SM Entertainment’s digital music platform called “SM Station”.
In October 2015, the SNSD leader, who was already famous for crooning OSTs for Korean dramas, made her solo debut with her 1st mini album, “I”. Later that month, she held her 1st solo concert titled “Taeyeon’s Very Special Day”.
