It’s Friday and SM Entertainment has dropped it’s 11th “STATION” digital single to welcome the weekend.
The new track, “Narcissus” (나르시스), is a collaboration between Super Junior’s Heechul (김희철), MAMAMOO’s Whee In (휘인), and TRAX’s guitarist Jung Mo (김정모). The lyrics and music video scenarios were written by Heechul himself.
“Narcissus” is a dramatic rock ballad about a couple who have to say goodbye even though they still have feelings for each other. The song starts off as a soft ballad against the sorrowful tunes of the violin, and then it goes full on rock during the chorus, combining the sounds of both the violin and guitar together.
The music video shows model Kim Jin Kyung going on a date with “someone” but in reality, she was going out alone – everything else was just an imagination.

This isn’t the first time Heechul and Jungmo has worked together. As best friends and label mates, the men share the same passion in rock music and they have previously worked together as a unit called M&D (Midnight & Dawn) for “Close Your Mouth” (2011) and “I Wish”
“STATION” is a special digital music channel project by SM Entertainment which will release one single every week for a year.
