“Buck, do you remember me?”
The Internet is about to blow up because Marvel has finally dropped the first trailer for its upcoming superhero film, “Captain America: Civil War“.
“Captain America: Civil War“ will be the first Marvel movie to kick off Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Its trailer premiered on “Jimmy Kimmel Live”, where actors Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans made an appearance to reveal a “big” surprise. As expected, the “big” surprise refers to the first trailer for the upcoming Phase 3 movie.
Kimmel mentioned the tease on Twitter:

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, “Captain America: Civil War” is based on a screenplay written by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely.
The plot will be based on the Civil War storyline in the Marvel Universe, where the mayhem begins with the Superhero Registration Act, a proposition that will force those with superhuman abilities to reveal themselves to the world and register their identities.
Marvel superheroes are forced to pick a side: Join Iron Man’s side if they want to support the programme or join Captain America’s side if they oppose the programme.
Evans will return to reprise his role as Steve Rogers/Captain America and star alongside Scarlett Johansson‘s Black Widow, Anthony Mackie‘s Falcon, and Sebastian Stan‘s Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier.
Emily VanCamp is joining the cast as Sharon Carter/Agent 13 while Daniel Brühl and Frank Grillo will play Baron Helmut Zemo and Brock Rumlow/Crossbones respectively. “Sherlock” star Martin Freeman will play a mysterious role in the film as well.
Various other existing Avengers will also be showing up as well, including Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye, Don Cheadle’s War Machine, Paul Bettany’s The Vision, and Elizabeth Olsen‘s Scarlet Witch. Tom Holland‘s Spider-Man will have some major parts in the film as well.
