Jon Bon Jovi has the whole rock star thing down pat, and he’s not impressed with Justin Bieber‘s antics.
In an interview with the London Evening Standard, the 51-year-old musician slammed Bieber for showing up two hours late to a concert at the O2 arena in March:
Every generation has guys that do that, none of that is new. They run the risk of disrespecting their audience members who have worked hard to pay for their ticket, to give you the permission to take two or three hours of their lives – or in that kid’s case, 80 minutes of their lives.
Do it once, you can be forgiven. Do it enough times and shame on you. They won’t have you back. Then it just becomes a cliché. It’s really not cool – you’re an asshole. Go to f***in’ work!

Bon Jovi’s admonishment of Bieber might be a bit premature since he’s only been extremely late to his own show twice, but the singer was less than ready to take full responsibility for his lateness after his London concert.
The 19-year-old pop star blamed “technical issues” and claimed he was only a mere 40 minutes late to the London gig. Though he did apologize, the incident happened during a time when the singer was exhibiting strange behavior that had many wondering if Bieber was in the middle of a breakdown.
