Yesterday, one of the leading financial services organizations in Malaysia launched a revolution that will break new frontiers in retail banking format to satisfy the needs of the prime consumers.

Mach by Hong Leong Bank is a Hong Leong Bank sub-brand that embodies modern lifestyle banking customized for the “Gen Y“. Launched at the Hong Leong Bank Mid Valley branch, Mach recognizes the fundamental shift in consumer lifestyle by the Gen Y segment and is designed to meet the demands of this market.

Its products and services encompasses customisable services, eco-friendly processes, non-intrusive high tech self-service concepts, convenient locations (for example, Mid Valley Megamall), and a fast turnaround time. Based on these key hallmarks, the next-generation consumers can expect wonderful things from Mach’s six “life starter” products that focus on pushing the limited of delivering quick turnaround time without compromising the integrity of the bank:

  1. The Money Box Deposit Account, which comes with a debit card allows customers to choose between Free Interbank Giro (IBG) transfers and Sky High Savings of up to 1.8% per annum as their preferred account feature.
  2. The Dream Jar Savings Account, a goal-oriented savings account that helps customer to determine how much they need to save into the account to meet their goals.

  1. MyPal Convenience Line. which provides interest-free standby cash of up to RM200 that can be activated online anytime, anywhere with Hong Leong Connect.
  2. The all-new Mach Credit Card is the card for people on the go.  With the physical card ready within 60 minutes at the branch, it rewards them with cash back from a choice of 12 exciting categories to fit their ever-changing lifestyle.

  1. Cruise Control Car Loan, aiming to provide a flexible loan repayment that helps save on interest charges throughout the tenure.  Fancy a new ride?  Enjoy fast conditional loan approval in a swift 15-minute turnaround time.
  2. The I.O.U. Personal Loan, which provides up to RM50,000 with no guarantor or collateral required with speedy approval and disbursement within 60 minutes.

Mach by Hong Leong Bank is now available at Hong Leong Bank’s Mid Valley Megamall and IOI Mall, Puchong branches, seven days a week from 10am to 10pm. And according to Datuk Yvonne Chia (Group Managing Director of Hong Leong Bank), plans on expanding to more convenient locations nationwide are already currently in the pipeline as we speak.
