“Hairs on the back of your neck.”
“Hands in the air.”
“Reaching for the lasers.”
“Losing your mind.”
,,are just some of the effects described by their fans when listening to Egyptian World Top 20 duo Aly & Fila in full flow on the dance floor.
In 2011, the leading pioneers in trance entered the DJ Mag Top 100 charts, cinching the #22 position. It was the same year that their hit track, “We Control The Sunlight” (featuring syrupy-voiced Jwaydan) was voted “#1 Track of 2011” on Armin van Buuren‘s “A State of Trance” radio show.
Clearly landing right smack in the radar of a rank of DJs as well as electronic dance music (EDM) lovers, they were then personally handpicked to play Armin van Buuren’s epic ASOT 550 event for the sixth year in a row (they played at ASOT 300, ASOT 350, ASOT 400, and ASOT 450 previously). They were the only DJs besides Armin van Buuren himself and Markuz Schulz to play all six years, back to back.

Many can be said to describe their music but we’re afraid words will never be able to do these Egyptian wonders any justice. The fact that they’ve recently won the “Egypt Dance Nation of the Year” accolade at the Ibiza DJ Awards alongside Armin van Buuren, deadmau5, and Swedish House Mafia is just another entry in their already impressive curriculum vitae.
Their record label, “Future Sound of Egypt” was also recently inducted as a vital part of the huge EDM juggernaut Armada Music, pushing their label to greater heights.
But why let us ramble on about their achievements when they can show you what they’ve got this July?
