2 Kicks From Nike Zoom Vomero 5 & JJJJound x New Balance 993 Are Gonna Turn Heads!

Brace yourself for two exciting sneaker drops in 2025 that are sure to shake up your collection.

Nike is reinventing the iconic Zoom Vomero 5 in a bold “Game Royal/Coconut Milk” colourway, combining modern style with classic athletic performance. At the same time, JJJJound teams up with New Balance to reimagine the 993 silhouette, offering two earthy, minimalist colourways that perfectly capture their signature design ethos. These collaborations are all about fresh aesthetics and timeless appeal – definitely ones to keep on your radar!

Nike The Zoom Vomero 5 “Game Royal/Coconut Milk”

Nike is back with a fresh take on the Zoom Vomero 5, and this “Game Royal/Coconut Milk” colourway is exactly what you’ve been waiting for. Dropping sometime this year, this version combines classic Nike style with a modern, dynamic twist that’s perfect for adding some punch to your rotation.

The design doesn’t shy away from details – starting with a sleek white mesh base that’s both breathable and stylish. Leather overlays in a cool gray add depth, while the pops of “Game Royal” blue on the TPU panel caging and swoosh create an attention-grabbing contrast. It’s a design that balances modern athletic performance with classic Nike aesthetics, making this one a must-have for any sneakerhead or athleisure enthusiast.

You’ll also notice subtle yet distinct touches that elevate this release. The white and blue tongue tag, the Bill Bowerman-stamped insoles, and the embroidered mini heel check all pay homage to Nike’s rich heritage. These elements aren’t just there for style but they serve as reminders of the brand’s roots and innovation. But it’s not all about looks – the shoe’s off-white and blue midsole ensure comfort while the semi-translucent outsole adds a cool factor with its futuristic vibe.

2 Bold New Drops From adidas & Nike Flex Y2K Vibes & Retro Football Feels

The Zoom Vomero 5 is priced at US$160 (RM721), and with limited sizes, you’ll want to act fast before they’re gone. Grab yours at Nike once they drop!

JJJJound x New Balance 993 Collection

Get ready for another epic collab from Montreal-based JJJJound and New Balance! This time, they’re reimagining the iconic 993 silhouette with two sleek new colourways that carry JJJJound’s signature earthy vibe, bringing that signature brown and olive palette to life. It’s a partnership that’s been built on timeless style and clean design, and this latest effort is no exception.

The first colourway keeps things fresh with a two-tone white and bone midsole, complemented by a bold silver tongue that adds a pop of shine to the otherwise neutral design. It’s perfect for those who love a lighter, more subtle look. The second pair dives into a moodier tone, inspired by JJJJound’s 2022 990v3. Think black tongues, collars, overlays, and a darker, murky midsole – making this version ideal for anyone who loves an edgy, utilitarian feel.

But here’s where things get really interesting: the tongue branding has been tweaked just enough to make this pair feel uniquely JJJJound. Gone is the usual double-text “New Balance” branding – replaced by a single “Made in USA” hit, moved up to the top of the tongue. It’s a small but subtle detail that adds a bit of intrigue to the silhouette without sacrificing the signature New Balance look.

As for the price and availability, these bad boys will hit shelves in Spring 2025. Though an exact release date hasn’t been set yet, we expect them to drop soon, so stay tuned for more info. With limited sizes expected, you’ll want to be quick – these are sure to fly off the shelves! Whether you’re a sneakerhead or just looking to add something fresh to your rotation, the JJJJound x New Balance 993 collection is definitely one to watch.
