Many young girls tend to be obsessed with “Frozen” and Barbie dolls but not Zhang Ziyi (章子怡)’s 5-year-old child.
The 41-year-old Chinese superstar took to Weibo this week to share that her young daughter is already going gaga over boys – or rather hunkies.
The citizens of China were celebrating Children’s Day earlier on Monday (1st June). Despite preparing a ton of activities for Xing Xing, the little toddler only had eyes for Wang Leehom (王力宏). She posted a snapshot a picture of her daughter’s back with a shirtless snapshot of the “Forever Love” hit-maker.
“My dear Leehom, do you know that Xing Xing’s dad and I went to so much trouble planning all sorts of activities for her this Children’s Day but she said this photo of you is the best gift to her. We wanted to vomit blood! Do you understand how I feel?” the award-winning actress wrote. Her caption was accompanied with crying facepalm emojis and the hashtag #ThePowerOfAnIdol.
Hubby Wang Feng (汪峰) also commented on the post, saying, “As her dad, I don’t know whether to laugh or cry.” Their good friend Leehom jokingly replied, “Sorry, my bad. (Quickly kneels down to wipe the blood.)”
He continued, “Xing Xing, I saw the cute and heartwarming photos your dad and mum shared of your Children’s Day celebration. Your parents’ love for you should be the most precious gift. That gift is a blessing.”
Nonetheless, fans were amused at Xing Xing’s taste in men. “So she has a thing for hunky guys,” one commented. To quote another commentator, “Is there anyone who’s not a fan of Leehom?”
