It’s been almost a month since Neelofa officially tied the knot with her husband, PU Riz. Still, the controversy surrounding the couple’s wedding ceremony remains a hot debate among local netizens.
This week, the spotlight is on actress Zarina Zainuddin’s autistic son, Aral Azrai. He took to his Instagram yesterday (Tuesday, 20th April) to call out a number of celebs who have allegedly flouted the Covid-19 SOPs during the event.
“These were among the guests invited to Neelofa’s wedding ceremony, including Izara Aishah, Adib Khalid (her baby daddy), Scha Alyahya, Awal Ashaari, Hannah Delisha and hubby (Singaporean actor Imam Shah). They never wore their face masks, didn’t practise physical and social distancing, and violated the SOPs!” the 24-year-old expressed.
Meanwhile, the “30 Pesanan Suara” actress also chimed in on Azal (full name Muhammad Raizal Azrai Abu Raihan)’s post. She wrote, “Oh my, now he wants to be a police officer,” before she added in another comment, “Don’t you have nothing else to do rather than poke your nose into other people’s business? You should be a reporter then. At least you can get paid.”
Scrolling through the comments section, many netizens showed their support and praised Azal for being vocal in speaking out on the issue. To quote one commentator, “Even a special needs child like Azal also fully understands what are the SOPs, that’s very powerful.”
For those curious, Zarina and husband, Dato’ Sri Dr. Abu Raihan Wan Jaafar, have 4 children together in addition to Azal, they are Muhammad Razil Azrai (Azil, Azal’s twin brother who is also autistic), Muhammad Adam Azrai and Muhammad Naim Azrai.
