French deejay and producer Hugo Cantarra will be performing in Kuala Lumpur on 2nd May 2026 (Saturday) as part of his Asia tour. He will be bringing his brand of house music to popular nightspot Müro, which is located at The Starhill in the Bukit Bintang area.
Cantarra has been a fixture of the house music scene for the better part of a decade, establishing a sound that is both memorable and club-effective. A staple of the melodic house scene in recent years, he has toured extensively on the international circuit, with regular appearances on Zamna stages worldwide including appearances in Zamna Tulum, Zamna Barcelona, and Zamna Miami.
A deejay with high musical sensibility and technical skills, Cantarra has shared the booth with and opened for several international DJs including Fatboy Slim, CASSIUS, Nervo, Ferry Corsten, EDX, Roger Sanchez, Harry Romero, Don Diablo, CID, Meduza, Felix Da Housecat, Daddys Groove, Nora en Pure and David Guetta.
Meanwhile, his sound has travelled through some of the most influential spaces in the melodic house and techno circuit, where he has performed in some of the world’s greatest nightclubs such as Pacha (Macao), Dragon I and Zuma in Hong Kong, M2 in Shanghaï, Latte in Beijing, and on stage for festivals such as ElectroBeach. Cantarra also recently collaborated with Eli & Fur (Eliza Noble and Jennifer Skillman) on the Deep House track Fire To The Water, which was released as a single on 23nd April.
Known for his emotionally charged, melodic approach, Hugo builds his sets with intent — blending deep grooves with driving energy, creating moments that rise, connect, and stay with the room long after the night ends.
