We are always planning for the future. However, no matter how many plans we make, sometimes, God has his own plans.
Taiwanese YouTuber couple “That couple (那對夫妻)” Nico (品筠) and Kim (京燁) have been expecting their second child for a long time now. They got a happy surprise today (2nd November) when their expected child decided to be born before the due date!
Nico shared the joyous surprise on Facebook earlier with his fans. “It’s so sudden!” he exclaimed. Apparently, the couple had been getting ready to go out for a meal to celebrate their anniversary. Kim’s expectancy date was a few days later, however their baby seemingly didn’t get the memo. Kim felt pain in her belly and after an hour of waiting for it to pass, they decided to go to the hospital. To their surprise, the doctor informed them that the baby was coming now.
“We weren’t ready for anything,” Nico said. “I didn’t expect my son to understand surprises like I do, (but) he came out and gave us a big surprise, and then he appeared really quickly!” Nico wasn’t just taken aback by his child’s sudden birth, it was also the timing as 2nd November was a very special date for the couple. “I fell in love with (my wife) at first sight today, years later, (we) also love our (child) at first sight,” he shared.
Their child’s arrival is more than good news. It’s a blessing. Nico and Kim had tried for a second child two years ago, but they lost the baby. The couple were still hurting from the loss and Nico shared that he often thought of their lost child. However, the couple are now looking forward to spending time with the new addition to their family.
