For decades now, Nike has been outputting fantastic shoes for us to feast our eyes on. And though the sportswear giant is no stranger to collaborating with other people and brands, its partnership with California-based brand UNDEFEATED didn’t have to go this hard!
Nike and UNDEFEATED first worked together in 2022, when they looked back to 1997’s Air Terra Humara for collaborative takes in the form of “Archaeo Brown” and “Black.” Now, the two are at it again to create not one, but two new colorways.
The robust but fashionable footwear is available in “Cargo Khaki,” which has a grey textile base that matches the shoe’s laces and sole. A hairy suede mudguard and leather overlays at the midfoot complete the look, as well as a black reinforced toe, creating a more rugged and durable appearance.
Though its colours may seem muted, they’re conversely complemented by the soft yellow that appears at the leather Swooshes and speckled midsole. The rear end of the shoe features a textured heel with an interesting pattern of diamonds and lines, with every other diamond sporting a curious little spike, giving you that added grip to easily slip these shoes on and off.
If you’re daring enough to try on a bolder colour, then give the “Light Menta” version a go. These shoes are made of a variety of materials and colours, with a grey mesh base accented by its signature minty green hue at the rough suede mudguard, nubuck overlays, speckled midsole, and textured heel.
What makes these stand out even more is the addition of a bright fuchsia that enlivens the words “PLAY” and “DIRTY” featured on the sides.
You’ll notice that at the sides of the shoe, where the iconic check mark normally resides, an UNDEFEATED-branded tag in blue is featured. The two brands’ logos also sit at the back of the shoe, just above the textured heel.
